We used a scene from our film as a capture shot for ou poster as it was passionate,high intensity and enigmatic. We also used a black and white edit to anchor our social realism genre and used the same font that is shown in the trailer. Faded into the background of the poster is a 'Police Road Closed' sign, we did this to show our narrative clearly and excite the audience that the film takes a turn for the worst.
We used the stereotypical codes and conventions of social realism film posters, including a large title, main character names, film ratings by a range of British companies, the age rating (which is crucial) and our film production logo.
